Hey Tom,

I'm sure there are a few themes knocking about in the war room have you had a look at any of them?

I know I have definitely seen a salespage theme, but I haven't used it myself so I couldn't tell you whether it has no side bar.

Might be worth having a look.

Cheers and yeah I looked on google but when I downloaded it something came up about theme being broken. Same for the one you send me then Nikki

The theme is not what I wanted sorry, I know I am being a pain but I am just looking for like a blank white page with no sidebar, nothing at the top so I can completely customize it.

Any particular reason behind wordpress?

I find static HTML pages better for just simple 1 page sales letters. Ton's of benefits over wordpress, one being speed of loading.

Another being the easy of tracking php scripts (unlimited options), and easy to modify, once the template is set up.

Plus you can find tons and tons of templates on the net for them, for a lot cheaper in some cases.

Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, I understand that. I suck at HTML to be honest. But I always pay to have the sales page set up for me. I know enough about html, and have dreamweaver, to do the little tweaks myself, if need be.

Okay thanks I have looked everywhere just can't find a nice theme, just really simple you know? Just certain width, no sidebar, whatever colour not dark screen though. That is it.

How about the default twenty-ten theme??

Create a page with the One Column, No Sidebar Template (within create a new page)

Then use Readings / Settings to use your new page as a Static Front Page.

Fiddle around with the Header to get what you want - or remove it all together.

You would have to pay for this but - Artisteer would easily do this.

It's like 100 bucks, I think for the full version, but it makes all kinds of wordpress pages really easily.

Tom, this is the answer you're looking for. Twenty Ten is the new default theme for Wordpress 3.x, and it has a single column option with no sidebars. It's also easy to customize the header and background images.

As a side benefit, as the default theme, it will always be kept up to date...
