Which is more important, a niche or the process?
So why is it common wisdom to tell newcomers to choose a niche you enjoy?
My thoughts (still in the process of developing) are that this "common wisdom" might be one of the worst things to tell newcomers to internet marketing. At least the worst advice to people who want to develop a business as opposed to a hobby.
Granted, it might make it easier to get started doing something we have a passion for. But are the results of that advice causing people to have false expectations about what it takes to create an online business?
What are your thoughts? What might be better advice?
