I Need some help please

I am a newbie as far as FTP. I have downloaded and installed Filezilla on my computer. How do I open it to start? This completely eludes me. Thank you

      When I open the icon on my desktop all it does is install the program again. That is what confuses me. If I find the program under search what can I click on to do what you say? Thanks a lot. I am really frustrated.

        Hi either open FileZilla from your START menu or go to START - ALL PROGRAMS - FILEZILLA and open it that way.

        But I usually just open it from the START menu!

        For my clients, I often create a folder on the desktop called "installation programs" Then once a program has been installed, you can drag and drop the original icon into there so you don't keep clicking on it by mistake. (or you can just delete it!)

        Now, as said above, find the installed version via start/programs. Once you've found it, RIGHT click on it and then click on send to/desktop. This will create a shortcut to the installed program on your desktop for you to use in future.
