What's YOUR Report Card Look Like?
the importance or lack thereof of certain things directly proportional to
how much money you're going to make online.
See how many of these 10 questions you answer yes to? If you score under
70, you might want to take a good long, hard and serious look at your
business.
1. Are you able to get yourself to the computer each day to do what needs
to be done without somebody pushing you to do it?
2. Is it very difficult for somebody to discourage you once you've made
up your mind to go after something?
3. Do you treat your customers with respect without just going for the
almighty dollar regardless of the consequences?
4. Are you organized to the point where you know where everything
is and what needs to be taken care of at all times?
5. Do you keep up with the latest changes in rules and regulations
that could seriously impact your income if ignored?
6. Do you continually update your products and/or services so that you're
not left behind by your competitors?
7. If you build a list, do you value it and not do the "churn and burn"
routine?
8. Do you talk to people as equals and not down to them as inferior to you?
9. Do you have a long range plan and not just fly by the seat of your
pants?
10. Do you value the opinion and advice of others but still evaluate each
based on where the advice is coming from?
I could go into a whole long spiel about why I feel each one of these is
so important, but I think I'll leave that part as an exercise for this thread.
If you answered no to 4 of these questions (a score of 60) you may
have some problems that need to be addressed. Notice I said may and
not definitely, as every business model is different.
For example, some big name marketers do very well with the "churn and
burn" method because they can build such huge lists. So while I don't
particularly think it's the best model in the world, some folks make it work.
What do you think about the above list?
Agree? Disagree?
If you feel the above is or isn't important, why?
Maybe we can get a really decent discussion on this one.
Oh, by the way, if I'm honest, I only scored 80%. I have a couple of
things that I need to work on.
