'Ning' star to advise on new UK focused project
Without giving too much away, the site will be a social, professional network for UK members within the 'services' sector. I've done all the research I possibly can for this initial stage one of build. Realised the gap analysis, bought the domain, pretty much done setting up Ning, waiting on the site-wide customised graphics to come back and now I feel like I have hit a bit of a brick wall. What I'd really love is for someone whose also been in this situation before to help advise me with what to do next. I wasn't plannign on placing any content on the site as the nature of Ning is that it should build itself, but I'm not planning on anyone visiting a blank site either.
I have several ideas with ways forward and I feel that I've read all of NING's offerings of 'Tips & Advice'.. the conudrum is really not being able to choose the next 'appropriate' also the most 'effective' way to move forward.
Options I'm considering for stage 2:
- Mass-email invite
- Snail mail drop to sector HQ' branches introducing the site
Look forward to any replies.
