Best day to release a WSO?

Hey everyone,

Im putting together a WSO and I'm just curious-

Has anyone noticed that one particular day is the "best" to post a WSO? As in it gets the most traffic and conversions. Is it Thursday, Saturday...?

I know the middle of the week tends to be the best time for conversions in IM, but not sure if that's true within the WF as well.

Thanks!

-Justin

Well, you could put it up right now.

Or, you could wait for responses that are almost certain to be different. Just because you put a product in the WSO on any day, it doesn't mean that you are even going to make a single sale.

Plus it doesn't really matter when you post the WSO, people can always find it if you add a link in your signature. Just make good, thoughtful posts and people will definitely notice it.

I think Thunday just may be the best day.

For days of the year, try Feb. 29, although it only comes around once every 4 years, it's got to be worth it.

In all seriousness, I think it could really vary. But I am sure somebody has actually studied it as best they can and could give you a straight answer. The question is, will they answer here?

I would suspect Tuesday or Wednesday might be the best, but that's just a guess.

Go ahead and post it. There are always enough people browsing the WSO forum, so it will always get enough exposure. Posting it at a different day or time will only have the result that maybe another group of people will be exposed to it. But probably that other group of people isn't any more or less likely to buy what you have to offer.

I have no idea except that I on the weekend are browse more and buy less, so if you are looking to sell a wso just for me I would recommend perhaps Tuesdays.

I think the best day, whenever you ask, is "today". Get it listed.

You can always bump it on any day of the week you like, no?

Fair enough my friends- fair enough!

I'll probably try to get it out this weekend then (almost done but not quite yet), and then maybe bump it mid-week to see what happens.

Thanks for the reminder to get my butt in gear.

One more hat in the ring for "NOW!"

That said, just understand that there are "typically" more people viewing on the weekends from what I've seen - BUT there are ALSO more people POSTING WSOs then as well.

As TomG said above - make it a solid offer... you'll get sales. Post helpful responses to others' questions with a link in your sig to your WSO... be a good citizen, bump the WSO when it makes sense to do so.

If it's good, it will sell.

      All success with your launch!

Just release it at a busy time and ensure that you link to it, create a social media buzz , tell your subscribers about it, spray paint the details on walls... etc... (just make sure people know about it!)

The best day is ... “the day after you buy my WSO that tells you the best day to post your WSO...”

I'm not kidding, there are WSO's that teach this stuff.

But remember, whatever they teach, DO THE EXACT OPPOSITE. Why? Because hundreds of other people will post their WSOs on the exact day and times that report tells them too.

Be a marketer. Take some risks. Be different. Make money, lose it, then make more in spite of it.

So what's the exact opposite of Saturday, say?

      Is it Wednesday, or Tuesday?

Well, it depends on the niche and the market. Some niches attract many overseas buyers, so you can never really tell which day is best for your niche...

There are no better days. However sales may go better on for example Saturdays,Sundays, Mondays as that is when people have time to check the web.

I'd have to say Mondays...Monday blues.... it never fails to remind people of their work life and how they can get away from it all with the help of a limited WSO that can earn $5000 per week and let them quit their day jobs

My friend, after a pile of WSOs, I can give you this advice:

    1) Make the offer irresistible.

    2) Offer massive value.

    3) Offer something that warriors don't want to or don't know how to do.

    4) Get reviews from warriors who've been around.

Forget about the "when". If you have the right product at the right price, people will find you no matter where you go! The only thing that WILL 100% stop sales is NOT PUTTING IT UP!!

Probably the best time to post a WSO is on the slowest day. You can get bumped off the first or second page rather quickly if you happen to pick a day or time, when most marketers with WSOs decide to bump or post their WSOs.

I think it depends on what you are selling. Are you selling a service or product is usually the question. If you are selling a service, you can put up a WSO at any time. For a product, you have to determine so many variables, many of which are mentioned here. Good luck!

I put my first WSO up a couple of weeks ago and decided Thursday would be the best day.

I got a good response to it within the first few hours but was sad to see it drop of the first page so fast!

I am still getting some sales from it almost daily now even though its not on the first page anymore. Thinking of bumping it up soon..

Yeah Thursday worked well for me

You really cannot go wrong with any time to launch......Ok, I stand corrected....I try to avoid Saturday night as it never seems to yield that great of a response but then again I'm sure others will chime in differently!

I don't think the day matters because I always see at least 1500-2000 people viewing the WSO section at anyone time. Thats a lot of buyers!

I actually just released my first WSO. It went live around 9:45 EST on Saturday, and had good views & sales - around a 20% conversion rate.

It fell to the third page this afternoon (Sunday) - & I bumped it immediately. Which, it turns out, may not have been the best idea because it didn't get nearly as many views & only a 3% conversion rate - even though I added in some great reviews that it had received.

I say just get it out there - and then test, test, test! Different days, different times, etc. After all, the entire time you're testing, you could be making sales (as long as the product doesn't suck). However if you are putting off making it go live to figure out the best time, you're just losing money!

There's a saying in the stock market that goes something like this: "Guessing where the stock market will go is like guessing the next step of a drunk man."

My advice: Don't get caught up in WHEN you launch your WSO...just make sure that it's a good product, that you price it right (like, really low, if you can stomach that), and be ready to bump it back to page 1.

As long as you're breaking even, the bumps should help your WSO build momentum.

    All best,
    Bill

    all these answers are wrong.

I worked it out. I have the secret...just pay me $9 and i will tell you. LOL.

NO...but seriously here is the best time to release your WSO.

Tuesday, at 10:32am (when the moon is in the 3rd quadrant) and the wind is blowing N/Easterly.

    There. The secret is out

Michael Olska has done a lot of testing on the best day/time so maybe he will chime in with his answer...

I tend to avoid the weekends, but thats just me... I've never had good luck with my bumps or releases on/or near the weekend...

Also, Easter weekend not such a good idea either... (or not for me anyways, lol)
