Because handwriting can increase sales...

Unfortunately I've noticed that handwriting and even legible printing is a slowly fading art form (it isn't even being taught in grade school here anymore), I find that this tool I came across may be a small way of keeping it alive for a short while longer.

On top of that, I figured us marketers could use it to add a personal touch to our salesletters, graphics, optin boxes, etc....

A cool video explaining it is here: Write by hand on your computer. [VIDEO]

I hope some of you find this useful.

Best Regards,
James Campbell

What a very unique and brilliant idea. Can you suggest where we could use this most effectively?

That is a really cool tool! Too bad I don't have a webcam.

I wonder if it will work with characters instead of letters?

Thanks for sharing this, it's really neat! It'd certainly be a great way of adding some flair and individuality to your websites. They've made the process pretty quick and painless too, as I was initially expecting that you'd have to scan in your handwriting on a regular scanner instead of using a webcam.

Using handwriting, or handwriting fonts on sites can increase the conversion rate I've found.

You've got to be careful not to overdo it though

I pefer to use - as you can export the handwriting to an actall font to use in word and such.

Feel free to ask me any IM related questions or add me on skype :D

I love this idea! I do prefer to handwrite correspondence when I can. It's becoming somewhat of a lost art these days and this is a great way to incorporate it into the digital age. Thanks for sharing
