What kind of membership do we need for this? Please advise.

Me and a partner of mine are creating a site where brick and mortar business owners in a certain niche can list their excess raw materials.

It's gonna be a pretty basic membership site.

The 1st page is gonna be a sales page then the members area needs to have two sections.

1. Where they can search the database.
2. Where they can upload their excess raw materials that they have available , add pictures, list details...etc.

What would be the easiest solution to accomplish this?

I don't think we need full blown membership software b/c the site is pretty focused...almost like a classified ad site (kind of)

Can anyone recommend a specific script?

Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Will they be paying for access? Will they each need their own login?

    If so, you really need a membership script, because that's what such a script is for, to control access to the content and keep track of the members.

    I think your bigger decision is how to handle the database, whether there is already a script out there than can do what you want, or if you need to have one written. But this is separate from the membership aspect of it.

      Yes, it will be a paid subscription.

      I suppose you're right; we do need a membership script however I was just curious if there was a good solution out there considering we do not need a lot of the features...
