Gravatars

My theme doesnt support gravatars for comments. there is a wp plugin called easy gravatars for that but avatars don't appear? I put a default avatar of mine but no results? What do you guys do?

    I set it at No Gravatars in Wordpress because they make the blog load slower

      Are you saying that you set up your gravatar at gravatar dot com and you are using the same email address and your gravatar still does not show up in your replies to someone's comment?

    Gravatars only show up on comment posts by posters that have signed up with Gravatar.com.

    Also, for the person that said that Gravatars slow the page down, they are probably not using a caching plugin. There are a few plugins that will cache the Gravatars, so that they do not mess with your page's load time. You can find some here: WordPress › Search for gravatar cache « WordPress Plugins

    I recommend keeping them on. Seeing all those faces after your blog posts really gives your blog a sense of community and invites others to join. It was the premise behind FaceBook, hence the name. I think it is working out well for them, but what do I know
