How Many Articles Do You Write A Day?

I am going to be ramping up my article marketing and am just curious as to how many articles average you write a day?

I am talking about quality articles. Not garbage. It's easy to put out 5 or 10 200 word articles that don't say much and don't have much helpful information.

So how many quality articles do you write a day, and how many words are included? I tend to write 500 to 700 word articles.

In theory I write one every day. (In practice more like 5 - 6 times a week). Mine are a bit longer, typically, though (she said in her defense!), more like 900+ words.

      Hi,
I try for one a day, and most days I get there. Sometimes I even get two, but that's pushing. My articles tend to run 500-700 words.
If I'm writing to complete a job assignment I can ramp it up a bit, but I don't like to push too much, I think my writing suffers if I try to crack out too much.

Whenever I feel like it. Although, I should aim to do 2 a day.

Some days I do article marketing and other days I do other things. On the days I do article marketing, I write 3-4 articles. I usually aim for the 400-500 word range.

I have a system that works for me to be able to write articles that get stuck in, are easy to read and actually have information in them. That helps, I would not be able to do that without a system.

Not enough. I outsource a lot and tweak them if they need it, but I write my own when I feel like it and they are usually around 800 - 1,000 words and take several hours to write and proofread. The most I write is 2 in a day but that might be only one day out of the week though lately it's been more.

I really don't think it's how many articles you write that's important I think that it's quality and finding the right keywords and titles etc. I am currently ramping up the quality of content on my sites and finding that more rewarding than sending more articles out.

      amen to that,

once you learn how to do these three things, your profits will TRIPLE.

      1) BUILD A BIG LIST

      2) BUILD A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH THEM

      3) LEARN HOW TO WRITE BETTER SUBJECT LINES AND EMAILS

In all number 2 is the most important. Once you master that, you can make as much money as you want.

I write 3000 words per day, about 15,000 per week. all articles are 300 words - 300 word is plenty in most niches. i use these articles on my websites and for backlinks...btw, i outsource 99% of this because i can afford it and its not worth my time to write 3 articles in an hour when i can pay someone about $12.

If you have the funds to outsource you need to do it immediately. i currently rank on the first page for hundreds of keywords and that increases every day because of my outsourcing. my writers now post the articles for me, insert links, etc...all i do is manage what they are doing and make sure they are doing what needs to be done according to our terms.

when i didn't have the money to outsource i was writing about 5per day, then i had to set up content and submit to blogs, directories, etc...it was a very slow process but it worked out eventually.

For myself I would write 1 or 2 articles a day to publish on my site and then rewrite them to submit them to article directories.

I also do writing jobs for clients and write PLR for my site, so I probably do another 5 or 6 articles a day for those jobs.

I outsource about 70 a week these days. Yes, you have to have money for this, but it brings in way more than I put out. So a win win situation.

Does it work, yes, but heck it took me a long time to find good article writers.

I also basically outsource all my contacts, and helpdesk too these days.

This year my goal is to have everything on outsource...so I only have to work a few hours a week. So far so good.

Better to be the general in the army than a solider in the trenches.... that is what I got from Brett Mcfall...he is one smart cookie, and it just means you should learn to outsource properly and delegate, and get more affiliates selling your stuff.

Once I did that, my profits exploded, and I was able to quit my job. In fact everytime someone tells me They have a 9-5 job, I laugh inside a little

I fully agree! I was thinking about trying to do 5 to 7 articles a day (a hard road I know) until my product starts bringing in sales and then outsource so it can be doubled. When it starts making more money, I can then hire another writer and have two writing my articles and me do another type of marketing such as video or social etc.

Yes, I also want to get affiliates going. I am in the planning phase for this particular product so it's going to be a bit before I have the system in place. I do want to basically have my whole business automated with either a staff our outsourcing and having things basically all automated for the most part.

Great plan, that is sort of what I did.

When you make profits do not go and buy alcohol and ciggies, just put it all back into your business and reap the rewards.

Work hard and all your dreams will come true, I assure you. That is what I did, and I never have to work a day in my life again. Yes I actually enjoy this stuff. It is not work to me.

        Good luck man!

I go in spurts. If I'm feeling it, I may write 4 or 5 good articles in a day, then lots of days I don't write any at all. Just depends on what kind of mood I'm in or what else I need to get done.

I write anywhere from 3 to10 articles in one day that are all around 500 word articles. I hate writing 10, but I do it if I have a deadline and then I'm burned out for a day.
I can't stand reading articles that aren't quality, so I try to put good stuff in.

But yea, I aim for about 3

You will find the real result when you go over 500 articles on EA.

Once I got over 500 article the sales came in long and strong.

It all comes down to quality. My highest quality articles...about 80 of them give me the most subscribers and sales.

So I would say focus on 2 or 3 articles a day and make sure they are of the highest quality. It is better than submiting 10 a day that are crappy and not worth reading. I guess you know what I mean. Tis the whole QUALITY verses QUANTITY.

I would say that most positively QUALITY wins over QUANTITY, by a long shot.

I try for at least one article per day and more if I'm really enjoying the subject. If it's something I have to push at, I can walk around the keyboard for 2 days then go and do something else.

I don't mind writing articles! I can crank out 2 or 3 a day (before my fingers start to hurt). It's the SPINNING and Google BS that I have to do that really irritates me - and takes more time than writing (and I use an Article Spinner) but still have to pick the words. . .

I would just LOVE to be able to build MY site, instead of having to waste time building backlinks to get noticed. Sigh. . .

You don't have to do spinning at all and if it takes more time than writing wouldn't it be better to write something fresh instead?

Building backlinks isn't a waste of time, and neither is building your site which should have at the least equal priority. A good balance between the two can make a difference.

On average, I usually write 3 to 5 QUALITY articles per day. Some days I write more and some I write less. It depends on what I'm feeling for the day. If I have a new niche I want to test, I'll ramp things up more overall.

I made a goal this year to focus more on writing, both for my websites and for content syndication and distribution. In just one month and around 35 articles for one of my websites, I've brought in an extra 1,000 unique visitors (roughly). Income has also increased as well (ultra competitive niche). I'm going to keep pumping out content for this one to help build up it's authority. Consistency and top quality content is key if you want to increase traffic and income over time.

It seemed since article marketing and more so outsourcing has been getting big, that this would be a good report to issue?

I write one article a day, about 500 words or so. But I get lazy often.

On average, I write about 2 articles a week. If i need more, I outsource. There are many good writers in WF with cheap rates while able to deliver on quality.

My focus when I write an article is to make it as interesting as possible, as if you are speaking to the reader from a third person viewpoint. I throw in questions, answer my own questions, providing facts and numbers, as if stimulating thoughts in the reader. These take a longer time to produce the article of course, but I don't mind.

Due to time alloted to my different online business models, I am able to do just one quality article. But then in my opinion, one quality article is anytime better than ten crap articles.
This much I can say with confidence my article writing now doesn't take as much time as it used to in the beginning. As the saying goes 'practice maketh perfect', hope I am in that direction.

I write one article a day and outsource the rest. The article that I write is designed to get me clicks and traffic. The outsourced articles are mainly for getting backlinks, because the quality isn't that good. I like being able to pay $4 or $5 for an article, but I haven't found any cheap writers who can write about my niche with any real insight or knowledge.

It actually takes me more time to SPIN my daily article than it does to write it! I use The Best Spinner, which is great, but it's the spinning part that really bores me.
