Article stertching part 1
So here we go, how to stretch your articles:
Turn it into a podcast
Download Free mp3 recorder, then simply record yourself reading the article. From there, download iTunes and follow their instructions for publishing mp3's as podcasts (it's pretty easy, no worries).
Save it as a PDF
By far the easiest, just open your article in your word processor and 'save as' a PDF. This can be submitted to document sites such as scribd for easy rankings, but we'll come back to submission.
Turn it into a video
This is the one that intimidates the most people, but there are a few ways to do it. First, just buy a Flip and record a video related to (hopefully solving the problem for) a keyword, and post to YouTube.
The second way is to use a free site called animoto.com which will create a video using images, text, and music that you create. Keep in mind that these are heavily over used, and quite frankly they get old fast.
The third method is the most labor intensive. Download camstudio (the free version of camtasia) and make a slide show of your article using one sentence or paragraph per slide. Record yourself going through the slideshow while reading it, and you have a video. Again though, quite boring. I prefer making a real video, simply because it's actually worth viewing.
Bundle 10-20 into an ebook
Fill it with affiliate links an give it away for free, or fill it full of links to your landing page and give it away for free. Or charge $5 and give affiliates 100% commission, it's really up to you. Though this sounds really simple, I can't stress how powerful this method can be IF you can create a GOOD ebook.
Well that's it for part 1, in part 2 I'll show you all of the places that I submit the different media types to, as well as software that makes it easier. Hope it helps :-)
