How to Prevent Wordpress Removing Formatting?

I have a data feed with a url in it that is like this

http://www.thesite.com/page3343(base)50.html

yet when it goes into wordpress it removes the brackets and makes it

http://www.thesite.com/page3343base50.html

This means when that link is clicked its not tracking correct as it needs those brackets and without them instead of it going to the product page it goes to the sites homepage

Anyway to prevent wordpress FUDGING the code? is there a plugin?

Turn of rich text editing for t he author making the posts would be the first thing I would try.

Anyway - what script or tool are you using to make the posts? If it's you manually doing it, just enter in the url under html view.

When you say 'when it goes into WordPress' you mean when you paste that link into the HTML view in WordPress, then the Raw-HTML plugin may help. I reviewed it here:
