Why did my Word Press dashboard disappear?

I am new to web hosting, Word Press and setting up a website. I installed Wordpress on one of my sites. I did not have time to add anything or post anything to my site right away. When I logged into my site later, and went to my administrator's dashboard, the right panel was blank. There was nothing underneath the word dashboard.

What would cause the whole thing to disappear? It was there originally, I had seen it!

    LOL. A friend of mine had the same problem. Basically what happened is the panel is hiding. You just have to click somewhere near the left side and it should pop right back out.

    This may be your problem (I'm not sure). Hope this helped! If not, there are many other great people here that may be able to help you out.

      I was about the say the same thing, that happened to me once as well. Try clicking around the dashboard icon and any arrows you see on the left.

    yes same happened to me .I just clicked at the top of the links where it said dashboard and it went back to normal I havent logged in recently so dont know if it still does it or not

    Original Question here. Actually I posted that incorrectly. The LEFT side of my dashboard disappeared! I have a profile area that I don't have on my other sites. I am not sure where that came from! I have no way of posting or changing anything since everything is gone!
