The weird thing is, i don't see that video on his site. How did he do this? The actual "review" on this site is just some empty blah-blah. How did he get Google to display this image?

When i do "video search" on google, i also get this video thumbnail..but then clicking on it only shows some lines of review "waiting for more info on the product", no video

Sure a way to grab people's attention in Google...

    It's there, you just can't see it :p

    I have no idea how he did it, I'm going through the source code right now.

    Interesting trick.

    The video is on the page but it's hidden from viewers.

    I took a look at the css and #video0 { visibility: hidden }

    video0 is used several times in the videos javascript and container div so I'm not sure what instance is actually hiding the video.

    It's border-line black hat since it's SE trickery but it's interesting and works. It's just a new twist on old school hidden text.

    I wish I knew more about video optimization for SE listings.
