What types of reviews are best, long, short, grid?

I am reviewing learn how to play music instrument courses and I have written some reviews but I want to see what is best. Most of my reviews are about 400-550 words. Should they be shorter? Is it a good Idea to use a grid style review, many other sites have them? If I use a grid style review, should I keep it pretty small with a clear winner of longer with a clear winner? Thanks.

    A lot of the copy guys will say that long sells.

    It should be enough to thoroughly convince someone to check out the program you are recommending. If they are really interested, they will keep reading, so it doesn't hurt to have plenty.

    If you use a grid style, make sure to compare benefits and not features of the program.

    As Joseph Sugarman has suggested, I would say it depends on how much it takes to get the dimension of the product you are reviewing.

    It could be long or short. As long as you get your point across without adding a bunch of unneeded information.

    Make sure to brake up your review similar to this post only having 1-3 sentences per paragraph.

      My product reviews tend to be around 1000+ words, although it is broken up into sections and has a decent amount of CTA's. Therefore if anyone does wish to get more information without reading everything they can.

      At the top of the review (above the fold) I will always have 4-5 bullet points stating the benefits of the product, a good CTA and a text link under it. I will then have the main review, doing this allows my visitor to see what they will get without having to read everything.
