What would you do if someone joined your website and where posting messages in another language?

Even tho I have only marketed myself in the UK, USA Australia and NZ anyone in the world can find me if the type in the right keywords.

So, I have a few people posting ligit questions (used a translater) but the are in different languahes.

What do I do?

Do I explain to them its English only then bloke them?

I didn't even consider this would happen so I am stumped.

Thanks in advance for any advice

It is your site and you are within your rights to change your terms of service if you haven't done so already.

In a forum or a website where all the content is in English, there does not seem to be much reason why anyone would post in another language.

There are a lots of great languages, but if you wnat your site in English, you can certainly have it that way. And if you don't know those other langauges, you don't really know what they are writing either.

I've been a member of quite a few associations and forums over the years that have required that all posts be made in English.

The vast majority of people will accept this without question.

    Just my thoughts

Well... one would think that if your posts are written in English and that they made a comment that made sense.... that they would be able to read your reply comment in English..
