Read MailChimp T&C - Affiliate marketing is not allowed

You might want to check out Imnica mail www.imnica.com - its run by one of our WF members
Good monthly rates @ about $10 - 1/2 of what aweber charges

start with article marketing and ad swaps....you might need 500 subscribers before you can initiate an ad swap....also get imnicianail...it is good

Create a product worth $50, then sell it for $7 and offer 100% commissions. Put affiliates links (only where they make sense!) and put links to your landing page throughout. Create a OTO to make money on the backend, then find 5 good keywords to target.

Start using article and video marketing to target the keywords and set yourself up with Check daily keyword ranks, link statuses and monitor backlinks - from your inbox! | Rankiac.com . Also get Heatmaps, Visitor Movies, Web Analytics | Customer Experience Analytics by ClickTale so that you can see what your traffic is doing. Spend 50% of what the site makes on solo ads or CPL to build your list quickly.

Doing this, by the time you get to 500 subscribers most of them will do the work of bringing in more people for you.

EDIT: Both of those have free versions that you can use the first month or so, rankiac is $5 a month (who cares) and I don't remember how much clicktale is. Worth it though. Oh, and MailChimp is awful. Go back to Aweber :-) Hope it helped

I am using imnica and still can't upload a database and have a ticket in with their helpdesk 3 days no answer. not satisfactory

They have one more day then i am moving back to Aweber where at least tickets get answered

By putting the opt-in box to the right/left hand section of the site and also used light-box method.

You need to make what is called as a squeeze page. You use a link that sends them to that squeeze page. You can offer them something free like a free report. In order for them too receive it they must give you their email. Most people end up getting interested and end up do giving their email. Once this happens you can lead them to your affiliate page
