Transform your blog into a blog platform : Let the users create the unique content for you

Hi Warriors,

I had an idea for one of my blog where I'm going to experiment polyphasic sleep (Polyphasic Sleep). I would like to transform this blog into a blog platform where users could create their own blog and to host it on my blog for example, there would be my blog at polyphasic-lifestyle.com and other people blog would be at polyphasic-lifestyle.com/mrXblog and polyphasic-lifestyle.com/ILikeThisBlogSubjectSoIllCreateMyOwnBlogAsWell.

So, the big idea of this plan is to obviously get more traffic and more revenue as users blog will contain google ads and other kind of ads to make money with that site.

Do you know any extension or plugin that I could use to develop this idea? What do you think about it? Does anyone have done this before?

    You should consider on what are they going to get if they are going to write on your blog.

    If you are hosting your site on one of those hosting sites that allows you have a number of sub domain then you could do it for free.

    Yes of course, the blog creation on my site will be free. I just want the blog to create a lots of content by itself to dominate that market.

    I gave a look at WordPress Mu, looks pretty interesting! Anyone knows something better? WHat do you guys think about that idea? Thanks!
