I do a lot of keyword research.
If you happen to do it even once, you should be able to see some kind of pattern.
And from that, I can tell you what exactly people are looking for.

So, do you want to know what is the most profitable niche?
The answer is
D.R.E.A.M

    • Some more,
love, make up, weight loss (the best part, no diet, no workout, no food restriction in less word, nothing to do)
The latest trend, push button money
  • Health, Make Money Online and Dating.

There will be hundreds of sub niches to these.
  • When I post this thread, I remember myself last time, when about to start making money online,
    1. I bought a "make money online" ebook
    2. got the download link and downloaded it into my computer
    3. I even back it up into my pendrive.
    4. then, dream....
    5. weeks later, I got my time to read that ebook, and I'm so angry, why?
Because in the ebook it told me to register as his affiliate, than spam yahoo groups :p

    I did at half :p
    But no results

Moral of the story, to make money, sell dream.
I don't say dreaming is bad. Neither to say selling dream is bad, but what I just want to say is, people buying dream/hope
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • I get what you're saying....

.... But Trey Smith just told me that Software was the most profitable niche on earth in his new launch...
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • You may market the dream, but what you sell better have substance or it is not selling -- its just a scam. I am amazed at the number of people who tell themselves its ok to sell crap because most people never act on it anyway -- even the guru's frequently fall into that approach. That's why the FTC is getting so interested in what we are doing online.

    • I'm not saying, we have to sell crap.
If what you're selling fulfill the need of customers, than it's good, isn't it?
  • Lol yeah push button money.

It is definitely all the rage nowadays.
  • Glad you guys keep on thinking the hot niches are the same old same old types.

IMO the best niches are the ones that most people would never think are hot niches but are!
  • Make money online. Absolutely.
  • Software. Guess how much Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Facebook, Amazon, etc. make?
    Billions.
  • This thread is now diamonds.

Also, massive yachts are a good call!

    • Supertankers aren't bad either. Multi-billion construction projects usually have a few spare dollars flying around as well

It's kind of hard to sell things worth over $100m on ebay or craigslist though.
  • Nice Info

    I like to dream also

but must be wake up go to work hehehe..
this is part of the mindset

    Thank you is good
  • Porn. Seriously, research the keywords in that industry. There's so many niches within the niches. I'm not going to create a porn blog, but I was having some fun thinking up porn keywords and found some goldmines if anyone wants them, I will give them to you (well, the ones I remember, at least!)

  • It always boils down to 2 niches - Sex and Money.

    • A lot of it does boil down to Sex and Money. 2 of my businesses are retail outlets for newborn, toddler and maternity goods. Obviously in that niche, sex and money apply.
  • Not as enlightening as I expected...

    • There's a lot of truth in the original post.

But may I ask what you WERE expecting? Answering that question could actually help all of us see it from a different--and hopefully profitable--angle.

      All the best,
      Michael
  • Great Post! I haven't dabbled into keywords as much as other marketing techniques but one thing that is for sure, if you follow the pros (not the scammers) it will show!

    Good luck to you!
  • You are 100% right but I'll take it a step further.

Yes, you sell the dream, but more importantly, you sell the solution to the problem.

Whatever problem that qualified prospect is facing at that particular time, if you have the solution and you can prove that it will solve the problem once and for all, the sale is made every time!
  • Nice fact...they always stands out...
