Problems Selling Same Digital Product Using CB & Other IM Procedures at the Same Time?

Are there any problems associated with selling the same digital product on Clickbank and through other IM channels such as PPC, anemail campaign or article marketing at the same time?

Wondering if anyone has had experience with this type of situation?

Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

Thanks - Bob M

hmm not sure what you mean. most clickbank products rely at least in part
on affiliate sales. affiliates often run their own PPC and email campaigns to
promote CB products as an affiliate. no conflict. track your campaigns and
    stick with what works best.

It is common for people to promote the same product through multiple streams.

Article Marketing could lead to a squeeze page. And then the email series can also promote the same product.

Is there any particular advice you are looking for?

Yes, there can be huge problems, Bob, if you mean what I think you mean.

It's a subject frequently discussed here, in many threads in which affiliates explain why they wouldn't be willing to promote such a product. This thread, this thread and this thread are just three recent, short ones I found quickly because I happened to post in those myself - there are many more, too.

Serious, professional Clickbank affiliates are typically not willing to promote a product which has an alternative sales page elsewhere. That's just about the biggest "leak" you can have, and will disqualify your product from consideration for exactly the small group of affiliates you most want to attract.

(There'll be many Clickbank affiliates not concerned about this, or not even aware of it, too, of course, but you may find that those include a lot who are among the 90% of affiliates who make 10% of the sales, rather than among the 10% of affiliates who make 90% of the sales. That's my impression, anyway).

You may be able to get round most of the problems (perhaps not all) by selling another version of the product elsewhere under another name, though.
