Camtasia 5

Hi Warriors.

From researching on here I understand that having Camtasia videos on your sales
pages of previews of your products will boost your conversions.

However, I am producing a quick video of a run down of my product and I want
to block out certain pieces of information, how, in Camtasia can I colour over
information I do not want to be shown?

I posted this here because I couldn't find the appropriate Support Forum, there is
programming and web design but no software support forum. Sorry if this is in the
wrong place though and I've overlooked something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

    Edit the video with the camtasia software and use "Callouts"

    They are called callouts. After you've recorded the video... and you're editing it... on the left side you can go to Add callout and add a Blur Callout, it's a rectangular box that you can resize and blur anything underneath it.

          When using callouts, be sure to step through the video a frame at a time, at least right before the callout appears and right after it goes away. It is easy to make them a fraction of a section too short- when watching at normal speed, you may not notice, but if somebody pauses the video they may see something you didn't want them to, if your callout appeared a frame or 2 later.

          Also, you can have more than 1 callout on the screen at the same time, independent of each other.

          Another thing you can do if the sensitive info is something like a password, is to just change it after making the video. Then no need to blur it out since it will be different by the time other people see the video.
