The first time is always sweet.

I still have a photocopy of the first check they sent me 6 years ago.

Yes, "rinse and repeat", and perhaps consider doing more in the promotional aspect that brought you that sale.

Master Resale Rights are so versatile, and these are educational, too. All kinds of IM material. Read, sell, break up into articles, combine into bundles, and there are 250 of them, complete with MRR, here for a bargain price! I'm even throwing in the sales page. Only £37 for Warriors. http://www.250mrrproducts.com

Well done, good feeling! Now just figure out what you did right and do it again, only some more

I was going to 'boast' today that I made my first non-IM-related Clickbank sale! I am pretty pleased with that, cos I am kind of sick of the IM niche!

There are tons of good products on Clickbank that have nothing to do with Make Money Online - you just have to figure out what need they are solving and then find the people with that need

Who says you can't earn money as an eBay affiliate any more? My stats say otherwise

    Well done indeed

Remember, though, there are literally millions of dollars sitting in affiliate accounts all over the world because people don't meet the minimum draw, or did not sell from the required number of different credit cards.

Remember it takes as many as 7 views before some people will pull the trigger. Sometimes one mailing is not enough!

Be Happy, but don't stop. Keep your momentum going and Get That Check!

Yeah, that's very true - I was a bit slow getting off the ground with Clickbank (hardly promoted anything until they redesigned the site - weird ha!) and now I am earning a bit through it it's taking forever for enough people to pay by CC so I can get a payout. Darn stupid IM niche, everyone pays by Paypal, ha ha.

Congratulations on the sale. I have a question , might not relate directly to the thread. But I`ll go for it.
I`m relatively new to internet marketeing ( 3-4 months) and didnt have any time to spend on it until now.
I tried yesterday and today to promote a clickbank product, but i noticed that everytime i cloaked the sale link , with bit.ly or tiny.url and checked it to see if my affiliate link is working and appearing at the bottam I see another persons link on the sales page. Has this happened to anyone before? Forgive me if this is a silly question .
        Just want to know.

I find that the easiest way for me to cloak a link is by simply buying a relevant domain name and forwarding it to the affiliate link. Domain names can be pretty cheap especially if you buy a .info, then simply go to your domain manager, select domain forwarding and enter the affiliate link, it will take about half an hour to register, then just simply point customers to that domain name.

Ha, honesty is always a good thing!

My short advice (I am no CB guru) is:

      1) Look around the web for a problem people are trying to solve (e.g. on Yahoo Answers, forums etc.) - preferably one that you cannot currently find good answers for on any other sites.
      2) Find a product on Clickbank that will solve that problem
      3) Create a little web site with a few pages discussing the problem and offering the product as a solution.
      4) Get traffic to the site by ensuring it is optimised on-page for the kind of terms people are looking for ("how do I get good at running?" - random example) - it is quite easy to hit page one for that kind of thing, and also maybe putting your site in your sig on some relevant forums and making yourself useful on those forums (NOT spamming). Oh and maybe making a video guide for Youtube and adding your site link there too.

If you just take a very SMALL amount of time to do some research and come up with some half-decent content you WILL make sales.

I just told you the 'secret' there. Trouble is, most people won't do it, they'll just keep on looking for the 'shortcut', like you can get any shorter than that!

I remember my first sale as well as everyone else remembers theirs.

I don't remember how long it took to actually get the first check. It used to take something like 5 purchases with different credit cards and names for them to send you the actual check or get the Direct Deposit. I don't know if they still do that, but it delayed me actually getting the first check for another month or two.

I haven't sold a lot of stuff on CB, but so far I have only had 1 refund and it was in the non-IM niche.

It took me several tries to launch different adwords campaigns before I got any sales. Once found the right product and used the correct keywords, I got my 1st sale almost instantly!

My first check is 116.12USD. It was about 3 weeks before I could get the check.

Actually I knew the significance of that check. Hence I scanned it and saved it in a pdf file.

My 1st customer is an Englishman, from UK
