Video module upload formats???

Need some help on this one guys....

If you purchased a video upload script for your site, what types of file extensions would you expect it to be able to display?

I purchased a video module/addon for a classified ad script a few months ago & it won't display videos with the .mov extension properly (nothing to do with my computer). I'm not very technically minded when it comes to the videos so I'm not 100% sure if most video modules would be the same or whether I should keep chasing the company I purchased it from (been chasing them for the last couple of months to fix other bugs as well & getting sick of it ).

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Rachel

Thanks Josh...so if I understand rightly most video upload scripts/software running on websites don't actually accept all video formats?

...doesn't bother me if they don't, I just need to know which ones they should .

      Thanks

Yeah, Josh. Shouldn't he be focusing on flash presentation for web streaming and not conventional "video" formats?
