I didn't put a link on fb but got click referred?

Hi,

I have a site about 2 weeks old and it's on page one of google (only about 880 exact GSV). I have several related kw's on pages 2 and 3 so I have been getting a little traffic but today for some reason I had about 250 according to site stats and it says 207 were referred from facebook.

I haven't put my link on facebook and have yet to put my like or share button on my site as I wanted to get it established first. I also wonder if I should go ahead and put that on there if any one wants to give me their opinion.:confused:

Anyway, my question would be why on earth would I have gotten that many visits referred from fb when my main kw only gets on average 30 searches per day.

I just have no idea and was hoping someone could tell me why and or how that could be.:confused:

I am not complaining about getting traffic but.....

    Thanks for taking the time to respond. I was thinking maybe someone shared or something and I tried the search tool on fb and while I did find it on page 4 of bing, I don't think that is how they found me.

    I tried just a general search and there are several groups related so maybe someone did decide to share or like it.

    Think I'll put my plugin for like or share on it today to see what happens.
