Due Diligence Before Purchasing

I just typed most of this in response to a thread that was deleted while I was typing.

In case it helps anyone, here is most of what I said.

If you are considering purchasing a WSO remember that YOU are responsible for the decision to purchase. Do your due diligence. What do I mean by that?

a) Read the sales copy carefully. Are you sure you know what the refund policy is? Unlike Clickbank the WF doesn't have a default refund policy. You are responsible for ensuring you know the seller's policy.

b) Do you feel you are purchasing from a reputable warrior? Check out their join date and contribution to the forum (not the same as post count).

If the Warrior joined 2 days (or even 2 months) before posting and their initial posts are worthless one liners to achieve a high enough post count to post a WSO - do you feel they have a good enough reputation to entice you to part with your cash.

c) Read the feedback on their WSO thread and any previous WSOs.

d) The old chestnut. If it sounds too good to be true ...............
Remember - sales copy is just that - sales copy. It's designed to make you buy. Learn to read between the lines.

Hope some of this helps someone.

I think that was the same thread that I just commented on. If there's no refund policy written up, that will be because.... there IS no refund policy! For sure it will not be an accidental omission, guys. Nobody trying to sell anything "forgets" to mention a money back guarantee!

Master Resale Rights are so versatile, and these are educational, too. All kinds of IM material. Read, sell, break up into articles, combine into bundles, and there are 250 of them, complete with MRR, here for a bargain price! I'm even throwing in the sales page. Only £37 for Warriors. http://www.250mrrproducts.com

Unlike Clickbank the WF doesn't have a default refund policy.
I wouldn't put the two in the same sentence... and this comparison is completely wrong.

CB is a payment processor. WF is not.
CB buys your product and resells it. WF doesn't.
CB creates link(hop) for affiliates. WF doesn't.

WF> WSO is just an advertisement possibility. Like your newspaper. If you buy something crap through a classified ad you cannot go to complain to the newspaper... (You can but they will kick you out)

I beg to differ. You know why they are different - but I think a lot of purchasers assume a refund policy because they are used to one at places such as CB.

Actually, our opinions are not that far from each other...

We both know there is this false perception of WF/WSO being a "marketplace". (and this is what the Admin Says about it: This is not a "buy my product" forum, it is a "Special Offer" forum!)

I felt your comparison enforces this false perception - while I like to emphasize the opposite.

    Usually, is not.

I don't offer refund guarantee on digital products because I find it nonsense. You did not "return" the product for a refund. On the other hand, I don't sell crap and, most importantly I don't sell 'make a gazzilion $$$ overnight'-type of BS.
