A little help with a wordpress plugin

hey warriors i am creating a new wordpress site similar to this one here.

I plan on having visitors and users to post there own statuses to my site is there a plugin that can give me this option like on the website above?

    That's a funny site. I always said some of the funniest things I have read on the net are the comments left sometimes.

    I would also wonder how they do this,

    Maybe if you post this in the programmers sub forum you might be able to get an answer.

    There are some pretty sharp people in there.
