I'm joining the Amazon associates program but want to find out if there is anything to look out for.

Should I join from Amazon.com or Amazon.ca?

Any other tips or suggestions?

    I guess, that would depend on your target audience.
    Actually, you can join both and offer country-specific links.

    I am and sign up to Amazon US, biggest market on the planet, MUCH more and the most products than any other international Amazons.

      Thanks for the feedback, guys.

      Looks like direct deposit is unavailable if your not a U.S. resident.

      Do they actually wait until you make $100 before issuing a check and do they charge any extra processing fees?

      I signed up with Amazon US which is my main market.

      I have also signed with Amazon UK & Canada separately and use the Amazon Affiliate Link Localizer plugin on my sites to get a few sales. There is a limitation to this as it only works if Amazon UK/CA carry the same product.

      Amazon mails us a cheque when we reach $100 US, they do not have a processing fee.

    I joined both and I think thats the best thing to do.
