Help - Which is better.

Okay Tim, there is a big difference between the two sites. Before getting into particulars ... I am curious. Was there any change in the source of traffic to your site once you put up the new site?

I ask because as far as web copy goes, the second site hits the formula for good copy better than the first.

There are a few cosmetic changes you could make on both, but overall the second site really does have the right idea with regard to structure for web copy.

In either case, the right table (light blue margin) has to go. It forces the main table to look squished and unfortunately affects the formatting on the first site. Notice how there are only opening quotes (") in some of the boxes?

So, definitely open the page up by removing the right table (light blue margin -- the second site was better by putting links at the bottom -- less distraction --). Make the main table of your copy the same width as your header. You can add the 'login' near the top right corner within the main table of your copy if you'd like.

Despite the fact that the second site has better copy structure, and the first site really doesn't cut the mustard as far as headlines go ... the first site actually goes to the heart of the matter with regard to PLR video.

This simple point, plus the sincerity/personalized feel of the copy in the beginning, could possibly be the difference. It is possible that your audience was not willing to wait for the problem/solution idea to fully develop. The first site points to this earlier and thus may have converted better by hooking your readers sooner.

So, for copy structure (the look of the page) I definitely say the second site is better. However, with regard to drawing the reader in on a personal level, despite the lack of structure, the first site gives you the better opportunity to hook the reader.
