Google Red Carpet - disbanded?

Hi

Ive been a GRC member for about 4 months and have been steadily building up unique articles on my news site all this time. i currently have about 260 articles on the site.. and growing daily...

I hadnt logged into EBRs site for a month or so as id been busy "doing it" rather than listening and thinking about it.. (i employ about 8 writers..)

When i tried to logon over the weekend it wouldnt allow me to logon...

Are there any other GRC members here who can help explain whats happened.. I read one post here saying EBR has disbanded the whole thing..! If this is the case I would be a "little" dissapointed.. especially since I recieved no notice or email saying this was going to happen.....Im sure my monthly payments are still going out as well...!

Ive tried contacting EBR but not heard anything yet...

Some clarification from any other GRC members here would be gratefully appreciated....

Ideally id like to at least attempt to submit the site to Google for approval although I do get the impression its now an almost impossible task...

    I don't know anything about your question, however ... it's not an impossible task at all. People are submitting and getting accepted to GNews.

      I sent Brian a PM, seems he is offline at the moment so will have to wait for a reply.

      FYI I'm a GRC member, but haven't been charged for it for a long time.

    I didnt mean to break any rules here.. and I havent got a problem with EBR yet... Im hoping there is a logical and acceptable reason for this..

    My questions really was whether anyone else had had an issue logging onto the site...
    Are you still able to log onto the site?

    (and thanks for PMing EBR for me.. hopefully he'll be able to clarify all this.)

      I'll dig up my login and see whether it still works, to be honest I haven't logged into GRC for ages so will have to check.

    BY the way.. the post which grabbed my attention and led to my worries following the problems id had logging in was this recent post from "bigbucks" (bottom of page 15)

    I don't know - but lots of us are currently having problems with website because of a hosting company problem (I have about 100 sites affected, including most of my IM ones) so he may he suffering the same problem. You can see more if you find any of the current threads about Datawebpro.

    I just spoke to EBR. I'm sure he'll get back to you shortly.

    Business hours are usually Mon to Fri. You should probably give people a chance to respond to weekend tickets instead of firing off questions and assumption in public. Just saying.
