Hi,

I was wondering what is the conv rate are you getting in your clickbank websites ?

I'm talking about affiliate sites promoting cb products, and the conv based on the traffic received and not the number of clicks on the hop link,

Thanks a lot and have a great day

From the title, I thought I understood what you were asking, Hamza, but the comment above has confused me.

Could you define "affiliate site" and "traffic received", please? How are you proposing that one should work it out if - as most Clickbank affiliates surely do - using one's "affiliate sites" to build lists to whom one sends email promotions including both masked hoplinks and links (back) to items on one's sites?

(I'm not suggesting that one can't work it out under those common circumstances, but clearly the way in which one does so needs very precise definition, for the numbers to be comparable in any meaningful way).

      Hi Alexa,

I meant the conv rate based on the number of unique visitors who visit the affiliate site and not the number of clicks in the hop link,

I have very low traffic but targetted traffic so I generally get from 2 to 5%. This is organic traffic from google.

Hmm...number of unique visitors I can send through my hoplink to the vendor site is something I need to optimize. Number of hits the vendor converts is almost always something they need to optimize.

I think it depends largely on the product, keywords selected and your ability to pre-sell. For one site that gets a 1,500-2,000 visitors a month I usually close about 20-30 affiliate sales per month.

I guess that's about .02% conversion rate right? I'm ok with that 'cuz it's a high ticket item.

On another site I have it does about 1% conversion. But I'm pretty happy with the one that does 20-30 sales (since it's such a high ticket item).

There are really a lot of factors that go into figuring this out. First are you bringing them to your site first and trying to convert them or are you sending them directly to the affiliate site.

The reason why I ask is because one of my sites promoting clickbank products converts to the vendors landing page at around 40%. However once they get to the vendors site it will only convert at maybe 2-3%.

Even then though those numbers are going to be different per vendors page. Not one page is going to convert the same. The thing you need to ask yourself first is the vendor do a good job at drawing you in to want to buy the product. If so the conversion rate can actually be higher then the 2-3% but typically it should be right around 2% overall. Depending on the vendors page of course.

It's difficult to get an exact figure, but I average about 1.5% and my aim is always 2% with clickbank type products.
