Businesses Without a Website - How To?

Is there a fast way of getting mailing list of businesses that do not have a website? I could go manually but that would take ages. Any help, website links etc. would be appreciated.

Thank you

I went to my local Chamber of Commerce website. If they didn't have a website listed (linked) then they automatically received something in the mail. If they did have a website they also received something in the mail, but an offer to do a redesign.

I live in an area where there are three smaller cities within 45 mins of each other. So I went to the other two cities Chamber sites and did the same thing. It works.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

This is not automatic but since you are targeting local businesses, enter "your city business" into google local/places. By looking at the "dots" on the map, you will find a lot of them that don't have websites.

This will give you more leads than you will be able to follow up on. And it has the advantage that you can target a business area you are familiar with.

I like both of your ideas. Although going through google map might be time consuming it might be worth.

As far as Chamber of commerce it is a very good idea to actually contact them and ask that question as they a have or should have that info.

    Keep ideas coming

In Dallas County you can download the entire appraisal district database. I would think that there are other counties that have this available.

With a little study you can generate some very interesting reports.

      Hope this helps.

Look through the local newspaper. Check the ads that don't have websites listed.

I am with some of your other posters. If you are looking for businesses in your local area for instance you should be able to find this easily by updated listings of businesses in your area. I believe that this will take some work but will be definitely worth it when presenting a company the opportunity for a website.

Just make sure when presenting this idea to these businesses that you go about it the correct way and do not try to push a sale.

Just give them the ideas and propositions and let them decide and you will be there when they are ready.

Jeremy I usually educate them why they must have a website and leave the decision to them.
