Any List Marketers Out There Can Help Me Understand Your Thinking

Quick question for those with massive lists and generate profits from them.

Is it a proven that sending an email every day urging us to buy something translates into profits to the casual person? Honestly it seems like spam but these guys are touted as successful people.

For example from the same person

Day 1. Generate unlimited traffic
Dat 1.5. Last day to buy my unlimited traffic method
Day 2. Last last day to buy my secret method
Day 3. How to generate your first 1000$
Day 4. New Traffic secret never seen before
Day 5. Even newer traffic secret for a special price on the last day

Quite frankly to me this seems ludicrous that something like this works, but clearly something is working here that I;m missing

This is a GREAT question. I would like to know the answer too because after I start to see success with my current campaign I would like to create a website and build a list of my own!

It's not spam, of course. You signed up. You can unsub whenever you want.

In the business, we call list marketers that get you on their list and immediately start hitting you with daily sales pitches "churn & burners." Does it make them money? Yep, it surely does. As long as you can replace all the people who drop off because their reaction is exactly like yours, they can keep it going, too.

But not all of us choose to do business that way. A lot of us prefer to build trust and cultivate repeat customers and a reputation for providing quality and value. That can also make you some good money.

    To each his own.

For me personally, I wouldn't do it. I like to build rapport with my list by offering them value. However, with that said, I do know some guys personally who do this 'daily'.

They say that when you market to everyone, you are really marketing to 'no one'. Some of these guys make up to 7 figures yearly.

What works for some doesn't work for all. It all depends on how you feel about it.

Some will swear by this method but I think if you want to stay long in this biz, then you should build trust first and sell later....
