Sold sites after 2 mos. - profit of $4,000

I just flipped (Does 2 months still qualify as a flip?) my first sites. Actually, I made a profit of $4,000 from the 10 sites I sold on S.P. Yipee! The nice thing about it was the ease and very short period of time it took to do it. My sites were review sites that led back to CB affiliate products. Not only did I make good money on the CB sales but made an average $400 per site profit. I want to encourage those that are looking to get into this ... it works.

SitePoint's Marketplace has been growing really fast. It was featured in the New York Times this month in an article about site flipping! There are lots of buyers there now, and some nice big transactions going on occasionally.

Awesome job, I hope you repeat the process and turn it into a viable long term business!

      Great job
Obviously your sites were earning income which is THE selling point when flipping sites.
      How old were the sites?

Thanks. Yeah, I like the quick sales but I am looking to also go into building a site up for 6 -12 months and after the revenue is consistent, I will sell it.

I totally agree, revenue is the key. My sites were 2 months old.
