I was wondering if anyone knew the code to put in the PayPal Button code to make it auto-redirect whenever they pay via paypal?

I have turned on the auto return but still seems to not be redirecting.

There should be an option in the profile settings I think. If it's set to auto-redirect after a purchase, then it'll do it automatically. I think that's right, but it's been awhile.

The way it used to work was that if you did not require customers to have a paypal account to purchase, you were not able to setup auto-redirect. It only redirects if you require them to sign into a paypal account. Not 100% on that either, but that's the way it used to be.

Also, as far as I remember, if you set it up then it will redirect the buyers of every button, no matter which product.

If you have more than one product, you should take a closer look at Step #3 in the button creation process.

One of those drop-down menus (might be the 3rd one Istvan mentioned), there is a place to send people if they cancel their order. You also can send them to a specific URL after they pay. You simply enter whatever URL you want in there. So if they don't buy, for instance, you can send them back to the product page or to a related product page in the hope that they'll still buy. Or you can send them to an opt-in form, like if you want them to "register" before you send them the download link.

That's how I do it.

Yeah...i've done that but it just doesn't send them there automatically when they pay.

They usually have to click a button and it takes them to the download page then.

Just trying to figure out how to get rid of that step where they have to click that button.

Do you mean that the PayPal order confirmation page has a button that they must click to get the download? I don't know if there's much you can do about that if that is PayPal's process.

Have you checked their FAQ or submitted a query to PayPal?
