INTERNET MARKETING

For those of you who write video scripts:

How many words would you say on average for a 5 minute video? How about 10 minutes?

I realize this varies according to how fast a person talks, etc. etc.

But I'm curious about what you average.

For me, 10 minutes is equal to 1700 words.

When I am writing scripts, I double space the pages and use 16-18 font...One page, if read quickly usually comes in at :30 seconds.

hope that helps.

I would imagine though, if the script is more of a "read through" of your system or product, rather than an "info push" you could probably get 5 minutes out of only 5 or so pages.

For a typical narrated powerpoint presentation, I am doing about 500 words in 3-3.5 minutes. So that would be about 700 word in 5 minutes and 1400 in 10 minutes. But it really depends on how quickly you move the script along.
