Why are the vast number of marketers here reviewers

Seriously, I would say that the vast majority of people on these boards are review marketers who create sites, research keywords and then sell to google searchers.

Don't get me wrong, this is a totally acceptable way to market online, but why don't more people take the route I took with creating an audience and then a product for that audience?

Is it time? Effort? Nothing original to offer (so you think)?

What is your excuse for not trying your luck at your own sites and product where people are buying your opinions or homemade ebooks?

So why does everyone do it that way? Simple: Because the illusion is that this stuff is easy. The illusion is that you push a magic button and money falls out. If you look at some of the questions that people post, it's the same question over and over again, "What methods are you currently using...What magic pill is everyone using this week.....I need to make money, how do I do it?" And what are the answers Chris? Everyone gives the same answer, "Well the magic method/strategy/push button solution Im using is (fill in the blank)" And when you read this crap over and over again you set out and try this.

So that's how people fall into doing the same thing over and over. The same way nobody uses your formula, nobody uses my formula either. And it's the easiest and most common sense thing in the world.

Good question Chris. Keep up the good work buddy.

Selling to people should not be a one off thing. One should be able to get commited subscribers. That is the only way you can generate residual income. I totally agree with above.

I would suggest you rethink such assumptions.

That's a common model here, but hardly a majority, much less a "vast" one.

I simply don't like creating "products" as you would call it (ebooks or whatever). My websites are my "products". I'm like a car salesman. I want to convince people that this is the car they need. That's what I enjoy. I have no interest in making a car.

So many assumptions in such a short post. Wow.

Not ALL of us are "reviewers." Some of us have original products and a loyal following, and we enjoy a good rapport with our audience.
