Provided that we select a high gravity product how many people that click on your hoplink continue to click through to the oder form impression & how many of those order form impressions actually convert into sales?

I would love to hear what type of stats the veteran warriors and experienced clickbank pushers are working with.

There are no guarantees with this and no point in giving a figure. Every single product will have a different conversion rate based on a whole lot of things. Oh yeah, don't always think picking a product with high gravity is going to unleash goldmines for you. That number only tells you how many affiliates have made at least one sale of that product. There can be products with low gravity score where only a handful of smart affiliates are making hundreds of sales a day. Just keep that in mind.

CTR is the click through ratio. That tells you how many clicks you are getting compared to the number of impressions. This term is used primarily in advertising.

There's really no way of knowing for sure without trying the offer(s) out for yourself..

Although in many cases people may get the same, or close to the same conversion rates when promoting the same product, there are many variables that factor in what each individual person's conversion rate could be such as keywords you're targeting, the type of landing page you're using, whether or not you're building a list and following up with that list, etc. I think you see what I mean.

Also, Will couldn't have said it better above. High gravity doesn't = the road to riches.

You just need to make sure you're doing good, thorough market research and then start testing with different models (unless you already know which model works best with whatever market and product of course) to see what works and how you can tweak your conversions to the highest point possible.

Lasty, I know you have probably seen on various affiliate pages the vendor's claimed "conversion" rate but my advice to you is take what the vendor says their conversion rate is with a grain of salt. Not to say they are lying or anything because in most cases they aren't, but like I said you usually don't know how they got that conversion rate.

For example they could have gotten that great conversion rate they talk about on their affiliate page through promoting to their list whom they already have a good rep with, but it will turn out to be lower for you say when you drive ppc traffic to the offer.

    Hope that helps buddy.

It depends on the kind of traffic but generally most people look for at least 1 in 100 conversion for related but not laser targeted traffic. Some keywords can convert at 1 in 10 but you have to keep testing to find them, the product doesn't need to have a high gravity.

I do not know about 'average' par-se but whenever I prove I have a 3% conversion ration or higher (viewers to sales) then affiliates jump all over my products, so I'm guessing 3% is above the average and thus enough to excite people.

I have a friend on the European conference call that averages much higher, but his product is super targeted.

But as others say it does depend on the quality of traffic, and often the above stat is for targeted traffic.
