The Best Way Of Finding Buying Niches - Please DO NOT miss it out!!

Hi,

I know a lot of you get stuck trying to find "buying" niche's and nothing seems to work out for you? Well here's how i have found 4 gold nugget's and how you can find you own.

Go to google and on the top right hand side you will see a tab called "Shopping"

Click on it and you will see Google product search and just below the search bar is the list of items people have "searched" for very recently, i mean..You would never search for "Men's cashmere sweater" unless you plan on buying it.

Ok, So now every time you refresh the page...Google shows you new terms...create a txt file... and copy the terms you are interested in and terms that you think are "marketable"

now pick one term you think will be the most easy to rank for and easy to market...Let's go with "Camping Lantern" and go google.com for some quick research!!

Well go to google and type in the search term and below you will see suggestions from google. A great way to find "micro-niche's"

Now let's go to the google adwords keyword tool to do some more research
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
Whoops...... I guess we have a lot of competiton..not something i would waste my time with!

But WAIT A MINUTE!!! we are missing out on something??? how about "camping lantern for kids" I mean google just doesn't give suggestions unless people are looking for it...right? The keword tool didnt have any data one it...so i did a google search and guess what.... When you search google for "camping lantern for kids" for the exact phase it gives only ONE RESULT!!!!! try it...(The time i tried it, only one result came up!!)

Now how do you find out if it has buyer's..well the search term speak's for itself and the fact that it came up the suggestions mean's that people are searching for it regularly!!

Go to: Detecting Online Commercial Intention: Audience Intelligence: adCenter Labs

This help's see if there is any commercial interest for that phrase:
so example i analyze bestbuy sand see the results....

0.73 is a really good number!!!

Now when i search for "camping lantern for kids" see what comes up..

yea...i have used this commercial interest analyzer for a while now and it does give proper result's ...i have jumped into many niches trusting this analyzer and has never failed me..having used this techniques for a few month's i can vouch for that!

Now you found a winning niche....depending on what you're niche is..you could always monetize it in different way's...

Even if you have ZERO CASH....squidoo now allows you to add amazon affiliate directly..it had this app (it will appear when you're editing your lens) where you can add related amazon products...without much hassles and same goes to blogger blogs...which are also "amazon friendly" .

Good luck... TAKE ACTION....Now don't try to make excuses and whine about how you're not making any money...You're just scared that you might do it wrong...DO NOT FEAR REJECTION!!!! Try harder...be smart...Take regular breaks from your pc...go out for a walk, call up your girlfriend...Dont burn yourself out... take care of your health dedicate a good amount of time to IM at the same time..

Hope this help's you out guy's .... peace~~

Well done! You're going to help a lot of struggling people with this...

        Edit:

Just spent a few minutes playing with this process, and came up with a pretty decent niche idea. Fairly competitive, but doable. Wide range of products available from really cheap to mid-four-figures.

        One popular item on Amazon sells for ~$3,000. Even at 4%, that's a $120 commission. At a very reachable 6%, it's ~$180.

        FWIW

you'd be surprised by how many more options you have I have a drop-shipping business based on a similar micro niche..i mean why should you earn petty commissions when you can sell it yourself..think beyond affiliate marketing....

unless the client asks you to build something for his personal use...i dont think anyone would try to develop a program unless they know they're going to make money and that there's a good market out there for it! :p

Hi, I said the keyword tool doesn't have any data while i was explaining ...doesn't mean it's the end of the world.I understand where you're going with this, contrary to the popular belief i have tried making simple blogger blogs just for keywords like this and have found them siphoning good amount of traffic....Adwords keyword tool is never accurate.. None of the tools are!!! ....That's why we as humans have the power to choose for ourselves....i have seen goldmines ..where there are just a few sites gunning for it...it happens....People aren't doing niche research all day 24/7 are they???every now and then there's an unexplored niche.. Its always about finding something new and easy to venture in.. im sorry if you find the following offensive....but with an attitude like that you're never going to find something new..Dont just keep following what you've heard....Use your power of free will to make judgment's.

i got into this niche a year ago...adwords had no data on it back then...and look at it now:

i have my site ranking #2 for this....and the product i marketed makes me $30 in commission...it is a really popular band that has dedicated and motivated fans ....im not going to reveal the money i make...but you get my point right?

              No offense taken

You just made it sound 'incredible' that a phrase with no search count in the keyword tool could only have 1 website optimized for it. Whereas that's really the norm, isn't it?

Of course, you *could* find the gold nugget...or you could just sell 'picks and shovels' which is possibly where you're trying to go with this :p

IF he is a troll, you've already done the wrong thing - by

Personally, I think L41db4ck makes a valid point with:

You can wait to have someone ELSE prove that it works - or
go out and test it yourself and prove one way or another if
it's what you want to keep doing.

But that's a far cry from calling foul on a valid statement,

It has worked for me....I have four websites bringing in income..and those niches were found using this very method even thou You are right that someone needs to try it out and come up with result's... i will not feed the argument by responding to they guy anymore...what i was trying to make him understand is that finding niches is "easy" how you go about doing your research and what you do afterwords is totally up to you....

I was just upset at how he made the "sell 'picks and shovels'" statement when i clearly mention that you have the liberty to choose what you promote i choose the particular word just for demonstrating it to you guys.,..i did not "plan" it ahead...not that im going to go for it..(i have clickbank stuff goin on right now, never tried it before)

There's a way you have to make your point...

And the method has worked for several people..Read the posts you'll find out!

.net domains have worked out great for me...I tend to avoid long tail domain names. but yes, they could be beneficial seo wise

I only have 4 sites and 3 of them are .com and one is .net...

Most of the times i try "testing" out my niches with web 2.0 sites like squidoo, or with free blogger blogs and then i assume ill make a "real site" for the one that works really well.. I have seen my "free" sites do much better then my wordpress sites!

    I was going to add....

Yes people do search online for "camping lanterns" and there is commercial intent.

But you can buy camping lanterns at Walmart or your local hardware store.

Do people really buy camping lanterns online?

A quick search on Amazon proves that they do!

This lantern has 223 customer reviews:

    Amazon.com: Rayovac SE3DLN Sportsman Extreme...Amazon.com: Rayovac SE3DLN Sportsman Extreme...

It never ceases to amaze me what people will order online.

It must be the anticipation of a "present" on the way.

Like creating your own little Christmas any time you choose.... to get that gift rush.

I'm a guy that hates shopping online or off....... I don't get it but I'll go where the money is.

    Happy marketing everyone!

          Just a quick clarification...

This was posted as a method of finding buying niches. I used the method, blended with my own experience and intuition, to find a micro-niche with the potential to generate a pretty decent profit.

As Rammonster pointed out, it's up to me to take it from there.

But it only took me a few minutes to find the niche and do a preliminary assessment of its potential. That's the point of the exercise -- finding buying niches with potential.

As for the squabble over the "camping lanterns for kids" keyword, and its searches/competition, I have to agree with our password-named poster. I would not expect to find pages optimized for a keyword with no volume data.

That's not an indictment of Ram or his method. It's based more on how slavishly many people obey some arbitrary volume rule when deciding what is a "good" keyword and what is not. They draw a line in the sand - a word that, on that particular point in time, shows X number of searches and Y competitors, by whatever rules they follow, is "good". While a keyword with (X-1) searches or (Y+1) competitors is discarded.

That is so true, and people continue to let money slip right through their hands because of it. Yet the 'myth' of x number of searches/competitors only, just perpetuates on and on.

Smart marketers will use this fact and offer convenience to people shopping online. After all, this fact is what made Amazon and eBay become so wildly successful - people love to shop online because of the convenience factor, and as a result we should endeavor to offer as much of this as we can on our websites.

Be wary of the adcenter labs commercial intent tool. I've used it extensively in the past and for words that have obvious commercial intentions it gave a low score to. All I'm saying, is that in the end, you have to use your own common sense and best judgement on what a buying keyword is.

The commercial intention tool is quite revealing. I've used it in the past and with keywords that I was positive were buying keywords. Alas, I was wrong, surprisingly. So keywords that you 'think' are good, might not be.

This is just one of several similar methods for finding hot niches. Most certainly those who are unfamiliar with them will appreciate this one.

      Absolutely.

What I like most about this idea is how QUICKLY and EASILY
      it can be tested.

      If it works, scale it.

      If it doesn't, drop it.

At worst, you're out 2 or 3 hours doing the research, setting up a blog,
and writing a few posts to get things started.

      Thanks for sharing this, @rammonster

Yes, the technique you have mentioned is a good one for finding buyer keywords and niches. After all, we are getting ideas from Google shopping website where people go to buy products. So the niches and keywords we end up with tend to be buyer ones.

Actually, I had come across this technique somewhere else but forgot to try it out. Maybe now I will give it a try.

Great post - and yes a big part of the battle is to find out what people want/are buying, so kudos for helping out here.

When it comes to taking advantage of that knowledge - you mention Blogger and Squidoo sites - any reason you have for going with 3rd party sites rather than your own website (either html or Wordpress for example?)

Also - what have you found to be the best site structure? Heavy content, more of an e-commerce listing or comparison, reivews?

As you know, finding the opportunity is only good if people cna manage to convert those potential buyers into customers when they hit their new site.

      Cheers,

      Jeff

I started off with third party site's...my fist sale was on those ...so i know a LOT of people dont have money to invest in. But i personally have word press sites filled with " product a vs. product b" reviews...and then make something up...like list of top 10 camping lanterns...and just pick 10 best-selling camping lantern's from amazon and post them.!

When i was testing out i had my wordpress site getting 300 unique's a day with zero conversions and my blogger blog with less than 100 unique's a day still managed to get a few sales...its all about tweaking you page the right way and getting your seo right!

As for the best site structure...It depends...if its a product like a television set.... Then just comparison articles, "top-10" list's do great, where's i have this site based on a band, so i cant directly "pitch" to those people...but after some good keyword research...i found that the bands "lyrics" were in great demand...and so were their poster's...so i decided to make a wordpress site just got a .com domain and outsourced the rest..including seo... Amazon allows you to post image-links ...basically its an image but if they click on the image they are redirected to amazon and you make the commission on the sale (sorry for the crappy explanation...i just woke up)
        so yea, poster's, cd's, t-shirt's and other merch sells well...for bands,artist's etc.

        Cheers,

Over the past few months I've read many posts and watched countless video clips about searching keywords, here at WF and other places online. This one post above is easily the best information on keyword research I have read so far. Would have saved so much knowing this sooner. Thanks for the great step by step guide here.

I've been using commercial intent for while - it is integrated in Market Samurai - but... the site is not always up. A number of times it was down for days or even a couple of weeks. As it's a private, free site, there is no telling when it will come back again. That is all up to Microsoft.

One question, to which I still haven't found an answer:
Does anyone know of a substitute for the site, just in case MS should decide to pull it?

It thinks that people searching for the keywords you entered are not looking to buy anything. Maybe they're just searching for information.

I have no idea if you have ever launched a WSO, but that was a 5 or 6 step, newbie friendly, $5 or $7 WSO right there.

You were incredibly kind and generous to give it away for free.

And you are balls on about the health part.

      hi,

While i haven't launched a WSO, i have bought a few... I know i could have sold this.. I mean sometimes you just do stuff without any reason and then turn back and not regret it.

i mean i saw a thread about how this guy was not able to find any good niches and i dont know what came over me ...i was like....What the F***? Its simple here....let me show them.... took a few screen-shots with snag it .... Wrote the instructions and this was ready in like 5-10 minutes.

I mean why would i sell something that just took me 5 minutes to create, I would rather make a whole video course on the method i use to make money with amazon.. wold take me just a few hours to record everything with my screen capture software and sell it for $47....

If i do launch a WSO in the future (not gonna happen anytime soon:p)
I would like to make sure i give out good value....I mean sometimes NOT monetizing is good.

i mean selling this for $7 almost feel's like cheating...But i guess money is money right?

      Cheers
      Kunal

He didn't make any money with this tip, but he built a nice reputation for himself. If he decides to put up a WSO now, he will have something to refer to. Maybe if people followed this path, there would be less "Why am I not making any money with my WSO" threads.

It's refreshing to see a thread like this where people are sharing some of the ways they're succeeding with IM. It doesn't have to be groundbreaking or revolutionary, and it's definitely a welcome change from all the 'I need to make money now' type threads that we've been seeing lately.

    camping lantern for kids
This is no niche. What is the use of a high commercial intention for something that no1 is searching for.

How do you think it showed up in the suggestions if people were not searching for it! keywords don't appear in suggestions if people aren't searching for it. read all of the post's in this thread we have gone over this. Please dont be such a royal prick.

If you do know so much about the shopping tool.. you should have very well known that "camping lantern" showed up in the shopping page because someone had already been searching for it, how can you so blindly and boldly claim that no one is searching for it?

I was just trying to help. Im sorry if you did not find it helpful. this has all been debated on in the earlier post's. kindly take some time and read them.

I have been following this thread from almost the time you started it. You come out as generous, kind hearted and helpful who is doing what we all should be doing i.e. helping our fellow Warriors. I have seen very few threads where people give out exact methodology.

It is evident 99% of posters to this thread have appreciated your gesture. Our fellow Warroir Ashish Thakkar, a senior member has its own mind and experience. This being an open forum he has a right to say what he thinks is correct. IMO his language was acceptable, not derogatory. I expected someone of your stature ( at least here in this thread) and a noble heart to have reacted more conservatively. I believe, you could have handled this without being terse. As I look at it, if he doesn't accept your point of view, it is he who is the looser not you. Read the thread again and see how many of us have appreciated your gesture. I would have politely put my point view to Mr. Thakkar and moved forward.

I sincerely hope that you will take this in the right spirit.

      God bless you.

          Hi Ram,

Sorry to hear about your difficulties. There are things that can affect the human behavior. A nice thing is when someone admits this publicly. Your noble behavior is not typical for everyone.

Please, put the bad thoughts aside. I feel it's time to go further down the road, which you started.

          Many successes,

          Sandor

read all of the post's in this thread we have gone over this. Please dont be such a royal prick.
Read the forum first before pointing out same tricks again and again. It doesnt really piss me off to see this but i dont really want the forum going the digitalpoint way where every1 is posting the same thing and 90% of members come up and say "i agree or good post."

If you do know so much about the shopping tool.. you should have very well known that "camping lantern" showed up in the shopping page because someone had already been searching for it, how can you so blindly and boldly claim that no one is searching for it?
Read again man - said "camping lantern for kids" and NOT "camping lantern". Plus i am not even talking abt the shopping tool. all am saying is commercial intention can be high but that will not really help for a term which is hardly searched.

    Regards,
    Ashish Thakkar

PS : sorry dint find no direction - Even though it wasnt criticism , you should know how to take criticism online. not every1 will come to your thread and say oh my god ur my hero what a post.

PPS : No offence to any DP people but frankly they're degrading a bit.

ok once again you prove to be the most senseless person i have ever encountered!!
Can you be so kind as to point me to the thread where this exact method was shared.
yet again you blindly say that most of the members post the same thing.
Are you mentally ok? please dont make blunt statements and expect me to oblige.

How do you know that its hardly searched, just becasue there isnt any data on the keyword tool, i cannot belive that you being so older than me are so short sighted!!

Again read the posts in this thread, this has also been explained in the previous posts.

Do you even know what criticism is???? I dont expect people to be kind to me, but most definitely don't expect me to be kind, when ungrateful people like you who have no sense of what they're talking about...come around posting senseless comments on a thread, don't expect me to take it too well. You're just another jealous prick.

Edit: sorry about the way i reacted ... but... I still wouldn't take back anything i said.. All i would like to say is you have your opinion and i have mine.. You're never going to understand what im trying to tell you. I guess its best if i just apologize and move on.

      good luck

Can you be so kind as to point me to the thread where this exact method was shared.

    Are you mentally ok?
    Last i checked - NO

    You're just another jealous prick.
Very much - i wish i had millions like you have.

How do you know that its hardly searched, just becasue there isnt any data on the keyword tool, i cannot belive that you being so older than me are so short sighted!!
Yup i think I agree with you - just because there isnt any data on the keyword tool that doesnt mean its hardly searched. There can be exceptions. I agree, google aint god u know but the same way just because it is there in the google suggestion doesnt meant it is a highly sarched term either. You need to research it using other keyword tools also.

Edit: sorry about the way i reacted
You gotto be kidding me. You're the kinda guy who shows a middle finger and is aplogizing the very next moment?
Wow and i am the one who is not mentally ok?!

I do not want say anything else nor will i comment on you or your threads.

Your posts and helpful comment speak for themself but you need to learn to respect and use proper language on this forum or elsewhere.

Ok, so what you're basically telling is that two people cant have the same idea....although the method is pretty much similar (i still have a different approach)....you blatantly claim i copied it
As i very well mention in my early post i was showed this by a skype friend of mine and i already told you that i wasnt aware that it was already shared...This is something i have been doing for about a year now!!

      Code:
      http://www.warriorforum.com/main-internet-marketing-discussion-forum/332071-fast-method-affiliate-cash.html
I wote an entire ebook report and sold it on DP like a year ago:
      Attachment 7318

So do you think shes a phony for sharing this? absolutely not!!! Sometimes people have the same idea and different ways of going about implementing them!! Its the internet...get used to it!!
