How can you make Network Marketing business work on the internet?

OK I feel like going around circle for months now. I've researched and read so many articles, forums, ebooks etc... I want to believe that it is possible to sign up new people who I meet online, but just not happening.

Could "building a list" "Talking to strangers" "calling families and friends" be the only way to make Network Marketing business work???

    I'm guessing some patient social site marketing might pay odd, set up a facebook group or fan page and make friends first and sales later...
    Bearing in mind that MLM was originated in the days before mass communication when local reps were the most effective way to reach people, it seems that cutting out the multiple tiers by doing affiliate marketing online rather than MLM may be more profitable.

      Nearly all MLM companies have adapted to marketing and recruiting online now including the aging biggies. Check with your upline for assistance on marketing online. Most of our leads for MLM actually originates from online sources.

    You can make it as long as you have the idea on how to do it. If you don't have then I advice you to study first. Study all the aspects of internet marketing. That is the best thing to do.

    Want to really make it work?

    Don't use it for sponsoring....instead use it as a lead generator to crank out sales for your product.

    Build customers, build relationships with customers, then find the ones who would like the product enough to sell it.

    Now you're playing with power.

    I don't have any advice to give you on how to make it work. Sorry. I just want to say I spent some times on the likes on MLM. At the end, it was a complete waste. My efforts were more productive when I moved to niche marketing. So, what I am saying is... If you've spent a good amount of time on it and you're not seeing results, maybe it's time to move on...

      based on my experience in mlm is hard to get people to sign up online. MLM is all about face to face coffee talk. You will also need to motivate your downlines and encourage them to go for company seminars etc. Hence i think is hard to do MLM online.......

        My dear it is not true mlm online is best to get more people unless if the products and the marketing plan is not favourable but it is the best way to make more income as many and many joins.

    MLM is about one thing and one thing only - rapport. If you make that the cornerstone of your strategy, then you can succeed. The easiest way is to build up a blog that is about the topic and VERY informative. Use this to generate leads and become an expert in your field. The more information you give away for free, the more they will trust you.

    You can run people through a normal sales funnel just like any other project. Start with a free report in exchange for their email address. Then start giving them TONS of value just for being on your list...
