Transcribing - Outsourcing

I will have about 5-10,000 names, titles, emails, addresses, etc in the form of pdfs that I need transcribed into an excel spreadsheet.

Where would be the best place to get this done and how much should it cost.

Thanks.

I'd look into getting those PDFs converted into Word docs first. You may find that it's MUCH easier to convert them to a text database, which you might be able to use as-is or import to a spreadsheet, that way.

The cheapest way would be to use a PDF to Word converter . . . there is freeware and low cost software that will do this if the PDF was made from text. Search Google for PDF to Word converter. If not, you can scan and OCR it.

Like Paul says . . . if you get it to text then you can convert it possibly using Excel import or a macro program like Perfect Keyboard to do the repititive task of putting the data in a database format.
