Aweber - Switching/Unsubscribe AUTOMATION from 2 lists, for 5 Products? Confusion

I want to set up 5 Dating products.

with 5 Aweber lists, per each product.

Product 1 - $7 ebook (buyer gets added to Aweber list =Product 1= list 1)
Product 2 - $37 ebook (buyer gets added to Aweber list =Product 2= list 2)
Product 3 - $47 ebook (buyer gets added to Aweber list =Product 3= list 3)
Product 4 - $97 course (buyer gets added to Aweber list =Product 4= list 4)
Product 5 - $247 course (buyer gets added to Aweber list =Product 5= list 5)

On each autoresponder, I am promoting all products on each list....so even if they have purcahsed product 3, there might be the odd promotion email saying, "Product 3 is a product you could be interested in"

sold as seperate products, using RAP.
-each buyer gets added to the individual list?

Now as each buyer gets added to the List of the product, some buyers will buy many products.

lets say Peter buys Product 1, and Product 3
-> automatically unsubscribe Peter from List 1, as they have subscribed to List 3 (rap list adding magic script method)

But some people will purchase 4 products, some people 3, some people will purchase Product 3 as their 1st one, etc.

so doing List automaiton will get fiddly for each product !

Where I am confused:
How do I set up this list automation so that people who purchase 3 products DONT GET Added to 3 lists, so that they get Over emailed.

I dont want somebody who has purchased all 5 products to be subscribed to ALL 5 lists.....but Just to the Latest product list they purchased.

If they purchase 3 products, they should ONLY be subscribed to the list of the last product they purchased, and Unsubscribed to the last 2.

It gets fiddly.

To summerize
I dont want somebody who has purchased all 5 products to be subscribed to ALL 5 lists.....but Just to the Latest product list they purchased.

Last time I looked into this you couldn't segment follow-up sequences and you also couldn't exclude lists from follow-up sequences.

The only way I can think of doing what you want is by automatically removing them from List A when they join List B.

The last time I checked Aweber was making a few changes...not sure if they have been implemented or still in beta....suggest you get on an online chat line with one of the reps and ask them to help you -- they might be able to fix you up or atleast tell you a better way of setting it up mate...cheers

I don't think you can segment like that either.

But worse, it is not really cool to send people stuff they did not specifically request. If they sign-up for list 1, that is their interest, and you don't want to send them offers from list 2. It makes them mad a lot of the time. I have a couple horror stories from my own experience about that.

It doesn't sound like he is sending them a different type of message from something unrelated to what they bought or opted in for. I'm not sure how you got that idea.

He just wants to keep track of his buyers in a separate list so he can focus that list more on what they just bought while the other list is focused on turning the non-buyers into buyers. He wants to promote higher quality buyers to a seperate list and not pester them with messages from the lower quality list.

It is no different to broadcast segmentation.

The automation rules I linked to will do the job.

This is precisely what he needs. This automation rules will ensure that his prospects are only subscribed to one list at any given time (the most recent one), and automatically unsubscribe them from the older list. This way they can buy multiple products from him, and only remain subscribed to the most recent list.

yes you can automated this but, is all depend of the buyer, what email they will use, because if they use differents emails for each product you will get the same person with differents emails, but is a risk for you if you want to do it this way
