I'd like to give away one of my websites. Free, any takers?

Just a quick one. One of my resolutions this year was to learn to focus on 1 task at a time, thus ensuring that that task gets done.

Basically, I have 1 too many websites to focus on. The one I'm giving away is Resveratrol-Cafe.com. I'd like to give away the domain name, all content, images, keyword research, everything, to someone who'd like to do something with the site. No catches!

Any takers?

  • Why don't you sell it? It's nice.

  • What, actually, is involved in giving away a domain? I would love to take it as my first ever project lol.
  • Hey David, whats your purpose of giving it away?.

    • Wow, fast replies!

Thanks! I'm proud of it lol. It's Wordpress, but quite a bit of custom coding went into it, as well as original design. I'm not selling it because it's easier to give it away (and it's less expensive than advertising too)

I'd have to look into it, but I think it's just a case of transferring the domain to whichever domain hosting company you're with. Not sure, though! Send me a PM if you're interested and we'll give this a go.

To get rid of the clutter in my life. I made a list of things to do, and this is just one more project I know I'll never have time to get done, so I might as well give it away

  • Hey Freddi,

Flipping your site can earn you some good cash apart from the primary aim of concentrating on a single task.

    Why don't you do that.

No matter, if you want to be generous to the warriors it is totally your wish and good for warriors.

    Warren.
  • If you are benevolent, give it away. But if I were you, I would not work on it, but would not let it sit for a while now. It will gain authority as its age increases. And you can always improve on it later on. Just keep paying for the domain renewal and hosting. Can you do that?

    • Some very interesting replies!

I have heard that site flipping can be very profitable, but I don't feel that there is enough content on the site to justify earning more than the cost of advertising it

Ah I'm not benevolent, but it's kind of a niche I don't want to be in anymore anyways. I could list the domain for sale through Namecheap, cause that's free, but that wouldn't bring good karma
