Successful Blogging Formula

I'm trying to come up with an equation on profitable blogging for an ebook I'm working on and I wanted some input:

Great Content + Website Traffic + Relevant Advertising = Residual Income


It obviously needs to be very basic and easy to understand for the reader.

    I would put it as + Buying Traffic + or Targeted Traffic or something like that.

    As you know you can get a lot of traffic but if they ain't targeted buyers in your niche you don't make much.

    Great Advice! The magic word is Relevant Advertising

    It's extremely important not to clutter up your blog with ads because it's counterproductive in the end. Many visitors will be put off visiting your blog if they are confronted with an avalanche of ads.
