Converting Websites into Mobile Format

Hello,

Can anyone please recommend free or paid software that will convert standard websites into mobile phone format?

I have a one page squeeze page with a Youtube video embedded on it, and I'd like to convert the entire page with video into a mobile friendly version.

Any feedback on this would be highly appreciated.

Thanks very much.

You're on the right path with getting your page mobile optimized. One thing you should be aware of is that just flat out repurposing your site or page to mobile isn't the best thing. Mobile visitors are expecting a different experience, just sending them to a replica of the fixed device page IS FINE TO BEGIN WITH but it's not what people are looking for in the long run. This is especially true if your sales copy requires a lot of scrolling on a mobile device. Just consider what you are expecting from a mobile interaction then apply that to your project. But also remember: "your experience is not the only experience" so do your research on what the mobile user is expecting.

Are you redirecting to: .mobi or to m.YOURSITE.com?
Are your visitors coming from another page on the web or are they coming from an email you're sending?
What's the goal on the page?

So, considering that, here's what I would do (star with #3)
    1. Go to fiver.com and put your request there. It'll get done for five bucks.
    2. Install Tera-Wurfl on your site It's free. (Google Tera-Wurfl)
    3. Download a copy of our white paper (see signature)
    4. Either get the .mobi or create m.YOURSITE.com.

Good luck and keep us posted.

    P.s. What's the URL?

    Hey,

I know this great site that has only a ONE TIME payment, and have 2 options to choose from, a personal website or a business website package.

Most mobile converter sites charge monthly fees and ask for crazy prices.
www.getmobilnow.com is a professionally done Mobile Website Design for half the cost, and no monthly fees....

I know a few dental clinics in the New York area who have use GetMobilNow and they informed me about this site. Just letting you guys know if you haven't already converted your webpage. This could be a good option for you...

If you use Wordpress to setup your website, you can install the plugin - WPtouch which will allow your website to view nicely in mobile device. Try it and let us know if this works for you
