Ive used them and found them unreliable i prefer a paid service as you get a much better service. Getresponse is defiently the best on offer if you dont use aweber.

ARP3 - 10 thumbs up. Followed by GetResponse.

    ARP3 preferrable over all because
it's self hosted, and incredibly flexible for list management.

I've looked for an auto-responder service that supports PayPal for quite a while. I wanted someone to make a purchase that automatically signs them up on my email list. (The list is the actual product.)

I didn't want to require them to fill out an email form...I wanted it to be an invisible process to the buyer. Aweber won't do it. Constant Contact won't do it. So, I thought that was it...the customer would just have to perform an extra step.

Then, I bought DLGuard and GetResponse and my problem was solved. DLGuard can work with GetResponse to set up an email subscription. I dumped Aweber and Constant Contact and now couldn't be happier.

DLGuard and GetResponse...better than Diet Coke and Mentos.

I am also in search of a reliable autoresponder service that I can use to start building my list which would allow me to pay my subscription fee through Paypal.

Aweber, GetResponse, a lot of the leading services - they all collect subscription payments through CC.

Any one know of such a service (reliable, accepts Paypal for subscription fee)?

      Thanks ahead for your recommendations!

I have used Infusion for a about 3 years now. I just noticed that they support paypal - I have never used that feature but I saw the set up for it while I was updating my merchant account the other day.

Infusion has been pretty good - better today than a couple years ago.

I use a service owned by another Warrior, Kelvin Brown. It's a good reliable service with some great features. It's not unlimited like Aweber of Getresponse but it's definitely reasonable if you're just starting out. And, you can subscribe with PayPal.
