How Do I Switch My WordPress Blog's RSS Feed to My Feedburner Feed?

When visitor come to my blog, I want them to
be able to access my feedburner rss feed when
they press the rss feed button at the top of my
blog's first page.

Any idea how to do this?

It's worth....

(Kidding!)

Upload the FD Feedburner plugin, and then put your feed address (that you got from Feedburner) in the Plugins/Feedburner Configuration section of admin.

I have tried a couple of Feedburner plugins, and this has worked the best for me. You still have to do the setup in Feedburner, but the redirection is seamless and has worked perfectly for me.

You can do it via plugin, but you don't have to.

        1. Go up and enter your blog url or RSS feed into Feedburner
        2. Go to Publicize and then select "Chicklet Chooser" - you can choose from two sizes and then copy the code you get from Feedburner
        3. Go to your Wordpress blog editor, under Appearance and Widgets you should see that your nav panel has a widget called Syndication. I would replace that with a simple text widget that you label "Subscribe (or something to that effect) and then in the body of the text widget you paste your Feedburner code)

Viola - you will have the Feedburner subscribe button on your Wordpress blog

Well for the sake of karma, I'll give my experience of how I did mine yesterday.

Note- I might not remember everything word for word but the basic setup is the same, just follow the sequence...

Firstly, know your blog's rss feed address. It's important. Just hover your mouse around the rss link and you should see your rss address on your 'clipboard' or whatever you cal it.

Head over to feedburner.com and sign up if you don't have a googlemail account....

You should see a link paying 'burn your feed' or something like that. Click it, put your rss feed address into it, and then follow the steps by step process from feedburner, i think it's six steps all in all.

The tricky part is that sometimes, feedburner will say they can't burn your Wordpress feed because it's too long, just log into your Wordpress, go to settings, click reading, you should see your feed there, select 'summary' instead of 'full feed', save and go back to feedburner, redo the steps and you should be successful.
I hope my guide is good enough. Enjoy your day.
    Tim.

Thanks everybody. I'll try the feedburner plugin
method. I have a feedburner feed for my blog,
so I hope this finally works. I'll report my findings
    soon.

    Thanks again!

Update: using the FD Feedburner solution
    worked like a charm!

My feed is now a feedburner feed when I click the
rss feed icon at the top of my blog. Excellent...
    Thanks, Lynn!

(You win the No-Prize. Congratulations! )
