Parent site relationship question
I'm working on some ideas but I am struggling on the concept of the parent/child relationship for websites. Here is what I am taking about:
If I make a site called balls.com and it gets to PR 4, would that "juice" flow over to child pages like balls.com/redballs ?
I guess what I am saying is, if I wanted to rank for two similar keywords like balls and redballs, would it be better to attach one to the other as a second page or to have both sites standing on their own? Does having a strong mainpage allow "juice" to flow to the child pages if they are related?
