ANy Help For A Struggling Warrior?

hey guys,

I'm definitely quite the noob to internet marketing. I've tried to follow advice here and there, and have recently started to attempt email marketing.

I built a Squeeze page at my website, but it is not having any success. Does anyone have any idea how I can increase my conversion?

Squeeze page - www(dot)co2paintballguru(dot)com/e-zine-subscription.html

I have had 109 unique displays, and ZERO submissions

What you've created is not really a squeeze page which
is why it's not generating any opt-ins.

You need to focus the entire page on getting visitors
to do one thing: subscribe to your list.

To do that, remove all of the distractions and other
    links...

The seemingly endless navigation menu - needs to go.

Visitors can view the video without opting-in so what
incentive is there for them to give you their e-mail???

Also, your opt-in box is 'below-the-fold' and cannot be
seen by most users unless they scroll down.

So, if you actually want to get people to opt-in then
create a simple and basic squeeze page with...

    A headline that commands attention.

Present them with a compelling offer if they sign-up
    to your list.

Make sure your opt-in box appears above-the-fold so
that it can be seen immediately - without scrolling.

    Dedicated to mutual success,

Hi the squeeze page looks good. Perhaps find a way to show the optin form sooner and keep the mystery e.g. They get to see the video once subscribed.

I suspect you don't have targeted traffic though and that is your main problem

I agree the page is too "busy". As Shaun said, keep some mystery. Make the video part of what they get for opting in.

And the headline has to have a VERY clearly stated benefit for them. "A secret that dominates the paintball field" for who? Make sure they know it will be them.

You will probably have to work on ways to drive traffic to your site since getting high organic rankling will be hard for a keyword that has 5 million searches (paintball), but no searches for (CO2paintball) and 11 million so-called competing pages.

You could take a tip from Russell Brunson who made his first online money selling an ebook on how to make a potato gun (Idaho boys!).

1)assume your market is hot already - looks like it

2)set up a simple "Ask" campaign. Create a simple squeeze page type page that asks the visitor, for instance "What is your biggest question about paintball strategy?". Run a short Adwords campaign to get traffic to the page and collect the answers.

3)Give people the answer to the questions, in the form of an eBook or a video, that you sell for a reasonable price.

For more details, google "Russell Brunson" and look for his seminar presentation on this. 45 minutes of action steps!

Shaun nailed it. You have to think like a user at all times. When a user comes to this page and is not familiar with anything...their mind is thinking so fast and making quick instant assumptions. They are trying to first determine what the sites about, then decide if it interests them, then lastly what action to take.

Right now you are barely getting past the first step which is telling hte user what the sites about. You aren't making it easy for them and because of that you are instantly losing people who won't spend much time trying to figure things out. Then you are naturally going to lose people in the 2nd part because some pepole simply won't be interested. Lastly you are making it hard for them to decide which action to take (subscribe below the fold). You also aren't providing a large enough incentive and the biggest issue with that is what Shaun mentioned...you already are providing videos.

take the video out and offer it when they submit their name and email
    that would work better

Make it to where everything is "above the fold".

Don't even give people a chance to scroll. Get your video on the left and opt-in on the right.

Have a compelling headline and then a call to action to opt-in.

Search for Google for "Squeeze Templates"

The money invested in a Good template is well worth it!

I just had a quick look at your site... You've got a good niche... however I found it to be very busy. Remember when a visitor arrives at your site you only have seconds before they either stay to look around or leave.
        Cheers
