My mother is interested in the IM I'm doing but I don't want to show her my website/niche
The more work I do is the harder it is to hide it cos I want to tell her what I'm doing but don't want to tell her I have a website cos then she will want to see it.
What are some ways around this? I don't particularly want to open the can of worms about me having a 'double life' as a 'pickup artist' especially if she is talking to family as it would spring many awkward questions for me- even if I were to try and say I am just promoting the products indirectly (which is something I thought of initially as a possible alibi) rather than being an active member. I think the website itself would betray that I am 'knee deep' in it if anyone were to read the articles
. It's not that it is misogynistic or anything it's just alot of the terminology and general philosophy behind it would seem weird/strange to anyone not in it themselves.Eventually I plan to have more 'politically correct' niches but until then I want some kind of 'cover'. Maybe I'll just begin making another niche as I have other niche ideas and do a frontpage and point her to that if she asks though it isn't ideal. before I get content up for it, guess it's another motivator for a new niche.
Any other ways to tell her what I'm up to while also circumventing so she doesn't want to dig around and see my stuff?
I think she gets now that you have to have a website so sooner or later she will want to see it. What to do?
I don't want to outright lie and show her some website that isn't mine as that would not feel right either. The best thing for my conscience will be having a 'politically correct' niche that I can show her or anyone else so I might just get on that in the near future since it will be easiest long term I think but what about in the short term?
