meta refresh, can wordpress do that?

I'm not talking about double meta refresh or black ha ~t anything.

Is there a WP plug in that will let me redirect a page, umm, I mean a wp post to another domain?

is that possible within a wp hack of the php or must it be done in .htaccess ?

hmm, I'm now wondering if .htaccess will refuse to work if "under the hood" wp code is gonna generate a 404 error msg.

is this easily done?
thanks in advance
#htaccess #meta #refresh #wordpress

I did search from within MY wordpress thesis theme... didn't think to search on WP.org
I did google the topic, musta not used the correct keywords to find what I was looking for cause all Google returned were black hat double meta refresh urls.

I suppose if I had known to add "post redirect" to the search query I woulda answered my own question

      Thanks Istvan!

That's always the problem... You guys think you know how to solve the issue, you think you know the technical how-to - which in 99% of the cases is not true.

Instead, in your search and in your questions here you should simply use the desired end-result or the question itself:
"redirect a post wp plugin" <-- isn't it what you wanted?
    (and that's what I put in G.)

So, never give the smart*** 'meta redirect mambo jumbo...' in search or forum posts. Because that's why you are asking (nothing personal, David, 90% of the question are like yours) a question, right? Because you don't know the technical how-to. So stop using technical jargon and just say simply what you want to achieve:
    - I want to redirect a WP post to another URL

    It makes everybody's life easier.

Or...if people don't understand the technical part they could just try and learn how to do it.

Imagine if everyone thought like you when they first started to walk.
